This is one of two CDs I made to accompany an exhibition of a series of paintings I produced based around the place I was brought up in, Craichie, in Angus, near the ancient village of Dunichen, a place of the Picts of Scotland.
These pieces are modified field recordings when my mother was moving out of the house. My aim was to create in sound what I was doing in the paintings, the re-expression of reality.
